About the event
Due to the success of our Facial Oil Workshop with Silk Healing, we will be collaborating on another event to provide you with an evening of relaxation and connection! Silk Healing is a Skin & Massage Studio based in Silverwell near Truro. This event will focus on facial cupping technique, it is a stand-alone event and completely different to the Facial Oil Workshops so you will benefit from coming to this event if you have or haven’t been to one of the Facial Oil Workshops.
Why facial cupping? What are the benefits? Facial cupping increases blood circulation and stimulates facial cells that are responsible for collagen production. In turn, this can brighten your skin, minimize the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and tone your chin, jawline, and neck by decreasing puffiness.
During the workshop we will be using products from Inlight who are a cruelty free, organic skincare company based in Cornwall. We will start the session with a double cleanse using a balm from Inlight, followed by using one of their luxurious masks to nourish and pamper the skin. Once the skin is clean we will begin the facial cupping, you will complete this technique on your own face with guidance from Amelia owner of Silk Healing, so that you can recreate this experience at home. The facial cups will be yours to take home so not only is this a wonderful event but you will have the tools and knowledge to complete this self-care practice at home, and the ability to build it into your skincare routine.
As always with Girls in Cornwall events this event will provide a unique experience for you to get to know other like-minded women in your local area. During the event you will be provided with healthy snacks and herbal tea to nourish you.
Massage, nourish, connect.
Date: This event will take place on Tuesday 7th February (please check our other events for an alternative date on Thursday 19th January)
